Cheap Flights

Finding cheap flights from Canada or to Europe has never been easier! We search multiple airlines so you find the cheapest airfare available. Many of the sites provide information in Canadian dollars, and flights to Europe, Asia, and the world.

I’ve booked almost all of my flights online and have saved a lot of money on airfare and vacations in general. Compare prices, and then book your flight. It’s fast, convenient, and I’ve never had any trouble finding cheap tickets.

Airlines in Canada

• Travelocity Canada Travelocity is always my first stop – Lots of flights from Canada to all over the world, and there’s always cheap flight specials domestically and internationally. Travelocity Canada Review
• Air Transat – Air Transat is a leading Canadian charter airline, and Air Transat flights focus mainly on Europe and the Caribbean.
• Air Canada – Love them or hate them, Air Canada is Canada’s major airline. Air Canada has flights all over the globe, and serve many Canadian cities for flights within Canada. I’ve had mixed experiences with them, but overall positive. Because of their coverage in Canada you’re almost guaranteed to fly with them. Air Canada Review
• Expedia Canada – Expedia was one of the first travel sites on the web, and for good reason – They’ve got great deals all around the world with car rentals, flights, hotels, cruises and just about everything else!

• WestJet Airlines –
  West Jet Airlines is easily the best domestic carrier for Canadian flights, by price comparison, and by their great customer service.

Flights and Airlines in the US

• Flights to New York – Good site to search for flights to New York city and has links to all the top planning sites for such a trip.
• Delta Airlines – One of the major US airlines is Delta Airlines. They also offer airfare to destinations around the US and internationally.
• Alaska Airlines – I’ve flown with Alaska Air on flights around the west coast of Canada and the US. They’ve got some excellent deals if you’re looking to fly to Mexico, Hawaii, etc. Always updating their website with cheap flight specials.
• Virgin Atlantic – Just plain cool – Virgin Atlantic doesn’t serve a tonne of destinations, but they do serve popular routes such as New York to London. A very great way to fly..even get a hair cut while on board!

Cheap European Airlines & Flights

Western Europe:

• RyanAir - The grandaddy of low-cost airlines. Based in Ireland, they’re a great way to fly around Europe or to/from Ireland and the UK. Often offers tax-only flight specials.
• EasyJet - I haven’t found them to be quite as cheap as RyanAir, but sometimes they serve a particular city that I need to get to. Still, with some planning, you’re hard pressed to find a flight costing over $100-$150. Mostly serves flights to and from the UK.
• German Wings and Air Berlin – Both of these airlines are obviously based in Germany. Hence, they make a great choice if you’re leaving or going to Germany. They fly to a number of Eastern European countries as well, which helps. If you’re going to be backpacking or traveling in the East, it’s often cheaper to fly from say Canada to Germany, and then hop a flight from a low-cost airline to get you to points further east.
• MyAir – An Italian based airline that flys to Eastern Europe, places like Bulgaria, Romania, etc. Based in Milan.
• AirMadrid - Flights from Madrid to Ibiza and other island in the Meditteranean, and also fly’s to Paris and Bucharest.
• Transavia – Based in the Netherlands, they fly to a tonne of destinations across Europe. They even fly to Cyprus and Malta!
• Norwegian - Norwegian based airline (obviously) that flys all over Europe as well. They’ve got some good prices around €45 to fly from Oslo to London for example.

Eastern Europe Budget Airlines

• WizzAir - Yes, the name make me laugh too. But they’re pretty decent. Based in Poland, they’re great for flying around Eastern European countries and can take you as far south as Croatia and Greece. Great prices, my only complaint is theire so called “Free Seating”. As if that should be a good thing. Basically nobody gets a boarding pass. So you have 50 people crowded around the gates waiting to stampede the plane so they can sit beside their friends or something. Really annoying. But, hey, you get what you pay for right?
• Central Wings – Based in the East as well (I think they’re Polish) they fly all around Europe for great prices as well.
• Sky Europe – Based in Prague, they also fly to a number of Eastern and Western European countries. I’ve used them to fly from Prague to Copenhagen and they were great. I find them to be a little more expensive than WizzAir but at least you get an assigned seat!

Air France – Air France has flights in North America and Europe and offer some of the cheapest flights between North America and Europe! Air France

Austrian Airlines – Austrian Airlines has flights between Toronto and Vienna and flights around the world. Definitely worth looking into if you’re flying from Canada to Eastern Europe.

flybe – Flybe is one of Europes’s newest low cost airlines with cheap flights all around the UK and Europe.

Lastminute.com – Excellent last minute travel deals! Great prices for flights around Europe check here for flights and cheap last minute flight deals.

Expedia.co.uk – The UK’s leading travel sites online, and one of the best. Flights and hotels, car rentals, vacations great prices and excellent reliability.

Lufthansa – Lufthansa has flights from Europe to Canada and vice-versa. Most flights will stop in Frankfurt or London as well. Well worth a look if you’re flying to/from Europe.

KLM – Royal Dutch Airlines – KLM is based out of Amsterdam and has a partnership with the american airline Northwest. They don’t service all of Canada (points further west than Toronto) but if you connect via NWA in the US you can often find some good deals on flights.
